Born in Peru and growing up with a guitar in his hands, Diego’s talent as a musician began at a very early age. As a young teenager, he started appearing in a famous Peruvian T.V. show and by the age of 15, modeling , singing and surfing were his charms.
At 16, singing in both English and Spanish, he made it official that his passion was music by getting second place on American Idol Latin America, which was hosted in Peru. Lover of poetry and writer himself, writer of dreams which dreams he makes come true, Diego Val is a real artist blending great lyrics, rich vocals and acoustic guitar. Just 4 years later, at 21, we find Diego living in Miami, playing local venues and garnering quite a following with his intoxicating sound.
