JACK SMACK
Jack Smack or Japa, as he is also often called, is a very very talented finnish guitarist who makes every Private-Line gig extremely adorable!! :-)
He lives in HeLLsinki, which is also the hometown of the band.
He was born on the 8th of august (in 1981 we suppose!!). As everybody can see he has black hair and very beautiful and deep blue eyes!
He’s not the tallest finn but, from the hair to the toes, he’s one of the hottest "packages" we’ve ever seen!! *gg* We usually call him the "Superschnitte" of Helsinki!! :-)
And, as we could experience, he’s sooooo kind and friendly and he absolutely doesn’t have any “star-behaviour”.
Now some of his favourites:
His favourite bands are SMACK and BLEAK.
His favourite food is SUSHI and his favourite drink is ALCOHOL (!!! *gg* … Hmmmm … Well, that’s definitely an important information!! :-)
Indeed it is very important because he can’t live without alcohol, cigarettes aaaaand … of course alcohol!! ;-)
BUT he can definitely live without stupid people! (that’s something we have in common!!)
As mentioned Jack is one of the guitarists of the finnish rockband PRIVATE LINE. He started playing in that band in 2002! He met Sammy, the vocalist, somewhere during a joyfull night in Helsinki and they decided to make music together. For this band he wrote already two wonderful songs called LAST NIGHT ON EARTH and BLEED. Another proof for his huge talent.
As Jack moved to Helsinki he started making music with some other guys in a guitar rock band called ROCKERS UNITE! The band is still existing but not currently active!
He has also other projects, where he also plays guitar. One band is called THUNDERBOMBS and it’s a tribute band to Johnny Thunders. The other band is called EVIL BOYS and it’s also a "Tribute to Dead Boys".
Before Private Line Jack was a singer/songwriter/guitarist in a band called PALMCUT! Unfortunately that band doesn't exist anymore! Nevertheless, Jack has a lot to do!! ;-)
Since september 2007 he is also the host of a radio programm called "The Ultimate Rock'n'Roll Show"!! If you live in Helsinki and surrounding you are a lucky one and can listen to "Captain Japa" every monday!! :-)
Jack officially started his newest project in april-may 2008! He's now part of one of his favourite bands - he's now guitarrist in SMACK!! Good luck for this one too Jack! ;-)
2009: Radio show "The Ultimate Rock'n'Roll Show" is history now! Jack is not hosting it anymore because together with Private Line he's currently working on the new stuff for their third studio album which will presumably be released in fall 2009!! Be pleased pirateers - new stuff is coming soon!! ;)
