Mustee and I were "cage mates" in prison many years ago, right after the Beatles split up - I confess that I was on a bit of a bender back then for better or worse. Anyway, we wrote quite a few good songs together and he helped me advance my piano playing first with a barely functioning Farfisa and then with a used baby grand we had brought into our cozy little cell that was brought in on donation. Whew that's a long sentence, isn't it? As cage mates, at first we were naturally at each other's throats, and finally we were musical collaborators and really most importantly, we ended up good friends.
