I've always wanted to be able to perform and entertain people. I used to do a bit of acting when I was a kid and really enjoyed it.
One day at college a kid asked me to do backing vocals for his song. I remember thinking that when the crowd cheered that they were cheering for something that the kid had just pulled out of his heart and mind. I know that sounds cheesy, but the fact that nobody else had tarnished it before he performed really appealed to me. I started to study music and quickly became obsessed with the way it worked and how everything came together in composition.
Andy, Stephen , Pete and Ray are close friends so it seemed the best thing to do to form Carlo to enjoy music by writing our own stuff and performing that music live.
We have played a small amount of gigs compared to other bands, as our personal lives have been quite turbulent in the past. The feedback and support we have recieved on the other hand has been amazin! It is only now that we have been able to throw all of our energy into what we are trying to achieve.
For the future, we will continue to write and grow as musicians, and keep goin till the fun stops.
