The Wishing Well

About Me

The Wishing Well is a page dedicated to showcasing the best in girl groups. There's no real point in me making a poor attempt at writing a history as there are quite a few comprehensive ones around. The best one I've read can be found here: http://www.chachacharming.com/article.php?id=2. This is a brief history of american girl groups and covers a few more obscure releases.

I will change the uploaded tracks periodically and the songs featured will mainly be from 1958-65 as that's when most of the best stuff was released. Message me if you want any information about particular groups and I will do my best to help, although many artists released one or two singles before disappearing into obscurity so there's not a lot to know about them.
