As an independent musician, I am proudly providing a link to the website for Carlino Guitars of Medford, MA. It is owned and operated only by my cousin Edward Carlino, and alone, he has done so much for local musicians such as myself in the Boston Area as the leading independent purveyor of high quality guitars, basses and amps. His personally designed guitars have been featured in the September '07 issue of Premier Guitar magazine and have enjoyed much attention and praise from the public at large (one custom built "Identity" model guitar is going to the Boston Red Sox manager, Theo Epstein, by the way). I am always eager to show my support for this business, and for music as a whole by representing Carlino guitars in every way that I can because I am proud of Mr. Carlino and his drive which took an idea and built it from the ground up into an institution that is making the name Carlino synonymous with music and independence. I've been playing guitar for half of my life, and have been involved in many musical projects and undertakings. The bands which I am known best for are Charlton Heston (Lead Guitar, Vocals), and formerly, P.R.A.X.I.S. (bass, and then drums). With both bands, I have played a number of shows which have been so fun and unforgettable to me. This page you are on now is my personal stash of recordings that I like to share with the people who I keep in touch with, and the people I have met throughout my carreer as a performing guitarist.
Aside from playing live, I have been a private guitar teacher for over 3 years, a period of time which I have worked with many aspiring musicians and have learned more about myself and about music then ever before. It has been so rewarding to share music with people on such deep level, and to work with something that is so important to me.
Most recently, I joined RazorMaze and now am performing regularly with them. They are all awesome guys and it has been just fuckin awesome working with them. Tours are being set up and things are starting to liven up around here....
