About Me

What do you get when you combine a drummer who played in a Phish tribute band, a lead guitarist obsessed with heady British rock and jazz chords, a bassist who loves the grove that makes you move, and a singer with influences ranging from southern to roots to alt rock?

You get the most eclectic band on the planet: Tieweb

Combining vast influences ranging from Herbie Hancock to The Pixies, Tieweb fuses memorable melodies with danceable grooves and soaring guitar riffs to create a unique indie-rock sound.

The Virginia based band was founded in 2004 by singer/guitarist Justin Fazzari and lead guitarist Eric Bayles. Tieweb solidified its cast with the addition of rock/jazz drummer Steve Quesenberry and bassist Chris Aylward in 2005. Tieweb released its first EP Setting the Sun in 2006. Its debut full-length album, Indier Than Thou, recorded by Washington Area Music Association (WAMA) award-winning producer Marco Delmar, will be released in Spring 2009. The combination of tightly crafted melodies and eccentric lead guitar creates an album that you can instantly sing along with after the first listen. The mix between electric rock songs and acoustic, slightly alt-country songs reveals a dynamic sound and presents a fresh experience with every listen.
