Direct from the Mystic Tan corporation, we offer a UV free tanning experience. The Mystic Tan solution consists of 3 primary components; bronzer, DHA, and Aloe Vera. At BronzeFx we have a Mystic Tan booth with the option of bronzer or non-bronzer.
Bronzer: is a water-soluable cosmetic dye designed to produce an instant tan that washes off in the shower or bath. Whether or not to use the bronzer or non-bronzer solution is a personal choice, non-bronzer (clear) solution allows the natural tan color to appear gradually throughout your day, it is considered a more subtle approad to the Mystic Tan. *For first time customers using the Mystic Tan it is suggested to use the bronzer solution. During the drying off process at the end of your session, it is less likely to miss an area of your body when you see the excess bronzer being removed on the provided towels, therefore creating less of a chance of error and bronzer residue on your clothing.
DHA (dihydroxyacetone) is a component that creates the longer term tannign efect. DHA, when applied to the skin reacts with the proteins and amino acids in the skin's superficial layer to form a golden brown color. The peak color is reached after 24 hours, though you will begin seeing your results within 2-3 hours after the application. The DHA color and intensity will be very close to that produced initially by the bronzer. The DHA tan will begin to fade within four to five days. To maintain an optimal tan an individual should tan every four to five days. In accordance with tanning on a regular basis, Mystic Tan products such as HyperMoist and HyperTan help accelerate and maintain a uniform tan.
Aloe Vera: is a liquid that is a natural moisturizers that comprises over 70% of the total solution, whether it be bronzer, or non.

If you have in the past had an allergic, or unpleasent reaction ot self tanners, you may recieve similar effects from the Mystic Tan.
Application of the Mystic Tan tanning process is done in by the special Mystic Tan solution that passes through the booth's nozzles, the particles of solution are polarizedm taking on the characteristics of "tiny magnets" that uses the body's own surfaces of the skin.
We recommend that you wait a minimum of 4 hours after tanning to give the DHA enough time to fully set. If you shower earlier, you may diminish the inensity of the tan, When you do shower the inital tan created by the water-soluable bronzer will wash off, but the DHA will remain and create your longer lasting tan.

A course of **3 to 4 sessions will give you a deep natural tan. To maintain this tan, only 2 sessions per month are necessary.

All you have to do is tan in our UltraBronz bed 3** times within a 7 to 10 day period, after which you will have a beautiful, deep, golden tan which will then last for about one full month. At the end of that month all you have to do is come back for 1 to 2 sessions each month to keep a golden tan all year long.
The essential difference between standard and Ultrabronz beds is the tuype of bulbs they use. The Ulbranze bed uses quartz bulbs, inadtion to a series of filters in the lamps that remove most of the (99.7%) of the UVB rays. Ultrabronz lamps are 1000 watts, allowing people to establish a base tan through UVA exposure in as few as 3 sessions.
The Celsius is a 52 lamp (VHR) very high refelctive lamps. This means that the lamps are coated wtih a refelective powder that reflects 100% of the light back to the tanner. The bed has a very shallow arch allowing it to come down closer to the tanner. The lamps are close toegher preventing "white lines" or spots that are unable to get UV exposure. This bed is large enough for 2, but bult for one.
Note: while tanning in this bed make sure that several times during your session roll to the right and left, lifting your shoulder blade, lower back adn your calves completely off the acrylic, allowing them to breathe. This prevents white spots.
