Goro

GOROGoro born in January 31th 1984 in Peru, he grow up in a musical atmosphere, from very young age he inclined towards the percussion as a result of the death of his uncle Tato who was pianist when Goro was 8 years old began his piano interest that he has developing until today. When he was 14 years old he enrolled and started his musical studies at the National Music Conservatory of Peru where he had a classic formation for 8 years making his main specialty The Percussion. Since his earlier youth he enjoyed the popular music which he has developing step by step under tuition of his principal teacher Juan Chavez. In other hand he enrolled with professors highly recognized as Alonso Acosta, Lauriano Rigol, Ney Rosauro, Hector “Pocho” Nesiosup and others. During his career he had the opportunity to perform with different style of orchestras, classic, popular, big band, music’s chamber, ensamble also he participated with the best Peruvians orchestras and bands and many television programs. As a brief about his musical life we can mention his participation in The Kids and Teenagers Symphony Band from CNM of Peru. -Player in the National Orchestra and Philharmonic from Peru as Guest. -Music teacher at Kodaly institute. He also played in percussion concerts. Chamber music, Jazz and Latin Jazz, Principal Player at the Orchestra of Young people of the Andean Countries.Also he performed piano and drums set for famous artist such as Bacilio, Janeth,Lucho Munoz, Oscar Quesada, Fruko and others.Goro is a great percussionist, drum set and he plays piano since he was 8 years old beside these he is a producer and makes sequences in keyboards sequencers since he was very young.At his latest years we can mention he has worked with artist like Fruko, Fanny Lu, Juanes and Fonseca in different opportunities.Actually he is playing with Kiki Sanchez’s Trio the Afro-Peruvian Project making a great labor as a drum set player delighting us with his unique way to play the Peruvian Cajon with different textures and combinations that only Goro can perform.
