I play old style "world" folk/traditional music from Russia, Greece, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Turkey and nearby regions. Mostly strings and winds - laouto, oud, saz, balalaika, tambura, kaval, gaida, zurna, ney - and a bit of tupan and bendir.Been playing Russian folk music since around '62 and balkan since '80. Then, of course, there's singing...
