It is in the Nineties that DJ Payton was these first steps in the music, Influence by the sound system and urban environment and underground, it evolved at a great rhythm with the passing of years.
It is only as from the years “2000†that it made more present on the scenes after its course in the underground. In 2001, it connected on street mixtape in order to make promote its talents artistic remarkable and its famous of Deejay. Of origin West-Indian and caribbeean influence, it adapts to all styles of music: Soca, Jump up, Zouk, Dancehall, Reggae, Reggaeton, Hip Hop, Rnb, Dance… In 2002, it takes part in the largest events of the holidays, among them one called “DA CAMPUS PARTY†with the discotheque People, from where it does not hesitate to be made hear and ignite the dance floor.
Appreciated and moved by the public, in 2003 it takes part and finishes 2nd with the annual contest of deejay of its city, which encourages it of advantage to work hard in order to forge these mix to make them still more delicious. During the year 2004-2005, always also given Payton animates in best the club of its island such as: Zenith, Players, L'Instant, La Cascade, Le Palace… for quote only those. After eagerness and determination, the young person deejay must leave the Guadeloupe for studies.
In spite of the distance, he always also present and will be requested in his island so much although that of Martinique with a radio broadcast on NRJ (Nrj Master Mix) every saturday with his collective Wanted Crew.
On its return of study, it was the subject of an press article published in the local newspaper “Antilles France†in connection with the evenings of the night of the graduates. In 2006-2007, It is more and more mediatized of share its talent, its musical selection, its originality and its authenticity. It is exported on France, and animates in various club such as: S-kart, Gibus, Uncontrollable cabinet (Paris), Sunshine, Maybach (Montpellier), King De luxe hotel (Bordeaux)….Also, it was the dj of Vybz Kartel, Aidonia, Shawn Storm, Black Rhyno and Cecile at the time of their come to Guadeloupe.
At the end of the holidays 2008, it flew away for Canada from where it arrives has to make move the public of the “Red carpet†like that of the “Krush†in company of one of its assistant, and in its return it took part in the contest of deejay of the Festival of Zouk from where it finished 1st in his category. He does not think of remaining about it, he hopes to be able to make dance and vibrate all planet on these mix…
