When I paint, I draw from the emotions i feel at a specific time and place when the inspiration for a piece strikes me. I could be spending time with family or friends enjoying a day out or a quiet moment at home or in my studio. I hope my work is approachable and fun, many of my pieces are abstract by nature and I draw immense pleasure through the creative process. I enjoy the creativity, colour and vibrancy of the paint as I create fluid forms and brooding backgrounds. I paint simply because I love it.
