About Me

Don Tuttle is a multi-talented singer/songwriter, born October 17th. Raised by loving parents they encouraged his passion for music. At the age of 18 both Don & his brother appeared on the “Jenny Jones” show in a twin talent search. They placed 2nd out of a field of 15. The experience cemented Don’s passion and love for the music. After taking a year of guitar lessons paid for by a friend who believed in Don’s talent, he began to teach himself some of his favorite songs. The songs he started with were “The Dance” by Garth Brooks, “That’s All Right Mama”, Elvis Pressley and the famous Mickey Gilley tune,” The Girls All Get Prettier At Closing Time”.He took his talent and sharpened his skills, by appearing in some of Ontario’s hottest clubs. Don’s single “If You Don’t Feel Like Talking” released in 2005 was debuted on radio stations across Canada. Featuring on CFMK Country 96 in Kingston, Ontario on their “pick it or kick it” show, his song was picked 100% by listeners. In 2006 Don entered a ROCK 95/COOL FM Canadian radio contest. Being one of the 11 finalist he was asked by a Canadian producer/owner of Wellcraft Music group to do a song on a Christmas CD with proceeds from sales going to the Christmas toy drive. The CD sales provided gifts to a large number of less fortunate children. But feeling something was missing, Don headed to Nashville for the 3rd time. He’s been active in the country music scene making live appearances at writer’s nights in famous Nashville Hot Spots like The Bluebird Café, The Broken Spoke Saloon, Tootsie’s, LYRIX, The Commodore and The Nashville Palace. Don has done live radio interviews for the worlds largest internet radio show, NIXA Country with DJ Jimmy Johnson. His original “If You Don’t Feel Like Talking” was aired on Melissa Siglers “The Mojo Mama” 98.9 FM radio station. Don also is one of the most requested artists on the Internet’s Hottest New station “Music On The Row Radio” with Carmen Dreher and is also being played on many European country stations. One night while performing at The Broken Spoke Saloon, he was approached by Mr. Tommy Barnes, co-writer of “Indian Outlaw”. Don is currently working on some of Mr. Barnes songs. Don was also approached by the host of The Bluebird Café, after seeing his stage presence and performing abilities, he was invited as a guest to perform. Don performed brilliantly one of his signature originals “God & Me”. At a later date Don returned to LRYIX with Mr. Barnes as a feature show.Don’s songs are written from personal experiences and reflections of the world we live in. With his heart on his sleeve and a soulful ballad from his powerful voice he is able to bring his audience to a place where true country music resides, in the Heart. Being a deeply spiritual man, he exudes both energy and fun. It just “makes you feel good” to be around him and his team player qualities. There is true affection in Don for the people who love and support him on his journey. Deemed “Down Right Pretty” by the female following, he shines with the deep blue eyes and a dazzling smile.Don is focused and driven to exceed a crowds expectations, like any great performer. He has affiliated himself with various known country music industry’s professionals. Most importantly, Don “JUST LOVES MUSIC AND THE PEOPLE AROUND HIM” Touching their lives in a positive way is what his life is about.
