SPM MUSIC is a Vancouver company on the the pulse of entertainment. We have have established a serious presence in the local music community by overseeing bookings and promotional affairs for a number of popular venues.
Currently SPM MUSIC is running or has run productions at multiple locations including but not exclusive to: The Lamplighter, The Buffalo Club, The Media Club, The Red Room, The PUB 340, The Gecko Club, The Limerick Junction, The Plaza Club, Malone’s Bar and Grill and The New Balmoral. We run an average of 2 shows per week at different venues and cater to the 19 – 35 year old crowd of committed supporters of the local music scene. During an average month we attract over 2000 people to our events and our regarded as an institution in the industry for being a supplier of local entertainment and a representative of the local music community.
Recent highlights include the co production in the 5th Annual Festival Of Guns.
A 4-day event featuring 40 different bands in 7 different venues and bringing together local business and media to put a directing a focus on the underground music scene in the city and attracting hundred of dedicated music fans to the venues featured. Other accomplishments include a Tsunami Benefit in 2004 that raised $8000 for the Red Cross and the World Vision relief effort and the Annual Musicians Christmas party bringing the Music community together to raise money for the Vancouver Food Bank.
With an experienced team developed through Sean McKay we successfully promote and execute live concerts that offer maximum exposure to the artist, band, sponsor and venue alike. SPM MUSIC concerts are run with a professional and organized protocol that is well appreciated by all we have dealt with.
