I used to love living in the past, without thinking about right now. I finally realized that right now is what my future consists of. Music is my absolute life. It's the one thing in life that I know I would never give up on, and the one thing in life that I know would never give up on me. Not only do I love to sing music, but I write it, along with my own lyrics.
I've changed a lot from who I used to be. I've learned from many of my mistakes, and I am proud of who I am today.
I am a nervous wreck most of the time. Everything always has to be on time and right in order, or else I'm a little narotic.:
I'm an extremely deep kind of guy for my age. I'm pretty good at hiding when I'm hurt or upset, so basically I am ALWAYS smiling. I love telling stories about my life and meeting new people. Most of my lyrics express my feelings, happy or sad. I love the life I live with my girl Issa along with my two boys, and I wouldn't change it for anything or anyone. I like to go by the quote, "Believe in the beauty of your dreams!"
Q: Who are you and where are you from?
A: My name is Jet Pilapil but my stage name is Jet Dreamin. I am a singer, songwriter, instrumentalist and a producer. I live on the Big Island of Hawaii; raised in Kailua-Kona but now reside in Hilo.
Q: How did you develope the love of music?
A: Music was always there with me from the very beginning! At a very young age, I grew up singing in church. And as I got into high school, friends and I had a singing group called UNIQUE 6. Years after that, that's when my musical style came together. The experiences, surroundings, relationships in my life help/inspire me to make my music/songs. My music is a mixture of reggae and island r&b!
Q: Do you have a CD?
A: In June of 2006, I released my first CD, Dreamin', (with my hit song, "Still" featuring Kae). Then in 2008, I released my 2nd album, Dream no More, with my other hit song "Mahal Kita" and my "I Love You Girl"that was featured on a compilation album called Chill Out by QuickStar Production.
