I WAS BORN IN CALDWELL CO. RAISED IN WILKES. MY FIRST GUITAR WAS A BROOM. MY MOM GOT TIRED OF CLEANING UP THE STRAW, AND AT THE AGE OF 9 SHE BOUGHT ME A USED ACOUSTIC AND FROM THEIR IT WAS ON. IT WASNT UNTIL 9YRS. AGO I PICKED UP THE BASS AND ANSWERED MARKS REQUEST FOR A BASS PLAYER. AND FROM THEIR WE WENT THROUGH THE PROCESS OF TRYING TO KEEP OUR BAND TOGETHER. 5 BANDS LATER MARK FOUND JAMES AND HE KNEW A GUITARIST,WHICH LATER HE QUIT. AND LEAD US TO JAVIER. I was born in Wilkes County N.C. on May 12, 1979. I started off beating my mother’s pots and pans and there began my fascination with drums. Nine years ago I met one of my favorite drummers, and best friend Allen Royal and realized this would be my future. Along came Shane, my bass player who has been a best friend through all these years. Many good bands later I wasn’t sure my choices in style were where I needed to be musically. Shane and I talked and decided our direction and then I met James. We clicked so much musically and managed to stick together through the beginning trials. Javier contacted me and I was very pleased with his guitar style. This is what led us to become Armed For The Fall. I love these guys with all my heart. I am so happy where I have ended up and this is where I’ll be until I can no longer lift a drum stick. ************************************************************ ***** ************************************************************ ***** ************************************************************ **** Dear Fans of Armed For The Fall, My name is Javier, im 24 and i was born and raised in Texas. I love music. it is my passion. i cant live without it. i picked up my first guitar just a few years ago in 2003. i was at a very bad point in my life when i started learning how to play. every day was a struggle for me. music and my guitar were my only escape. it was a very tough time for me but i made it and i even wrote a song about this experience. you all may know it as "Still Here." maybe some of u can relate. well, about 5 years ago i ended up here in beautiful Wilkesboro, North Carolina. and just a few months ago i met my fellow band members. we hit it off from the start and began making music like we had known each other for years... now we are, "Armed For The Fall." i love these guys very much and i appreciate the love and support that we get from all u fans out there that listen to our music. thank you all once again... -Javier
