I like to write, listen to music, watch televison, hang with my little brother...he's 25 but still my little brother, play with the nieces and nephews, and just enjoy life. I hate negativity and always attempt to get through the day with some laughter (usually pretty loud laughter).
By this time you are probably saying, "So she didn't want a myspace page, why not just delete the account?" Right?Well I think that myspace could be a interesting place to engage individuals in discussions on just about anything imaginable and if by chance I meet someone who could be a true friend--a bonus!!! So if there is anyone out there who would like to have some great conversation, feel free to write. I look forward to meeting you. Take Care!!!
I have added this song to my profile as a tribute to a very good friend who passed away two years ago when the car she was riding in was hit head on by a drunk driver. This song was to be her wedding song. RIP Karey--June 30, 2005. You will always be in my heart!!!
I have two favorite movies of all time: (1) Sparkle with Irene Cara...love, love, love it (puts Dreamgirls to shame) and (2) Brownsugar with Taye Diggs and Sanaa Lathan...I am a person who grew up in the late 80s and 90s so I can appreciate the love for Hip Hop that is expressed in that movie. I also love (please don't laugh) the Wedding Planner with Jennifer Lopez and How to Lose a guy in 10 days with Kate Hudson. If I am in the mood for action, Inside Man with Denzel Washington and 16 blocks with Mos Def and Bruce Willis are also really good.
Television is like breathing for me...I can't really find a program that I do not really like or will not watch. Of course, there are some that are better than others but for the most part I am content. Some of the best programming to me is the news. It's like the best show on TV....think about it, stories are exciting, saddening, heartfelt, comical. The news will bring up every emotion that a person has and all within an hour format...thrilling TV. Some of my favorite shows are Noah's Arc, all the Law and Orders, CSI Miami, the Young and the Restless, this list could go on for days.
Need something new to read. Any suggestions?
