We both have the same passion to see others rise up, but we also have different gifts that make Joli Captivant unique. Tana for instance is gifted in creative design and photography, where I am gifted at organization/administration and hospitality. When you combine our passion with our different gifts it makes for some pretty awesome chemistry.It started with Tana and I sitting in her living room discussing a friend who we thought was in desperate need of a makeover. In the end we spent around three hours discussing in depth about how we would go about it. The next morning I sat down and typed up all our ideas and drew up a contract for our friend. A month later we were finally able to complete our first mission and the results were astounding!! We are now trying to get more victims, er clients that is, to work with in order to bring out their inner beauty by enhancing their outer beauty.Many people think that “makeover” deals only with the outer appearance, such as clothing, but clothing is not the issue, it is only a means to an end! It is another form of artistic expression that can draw the wounded into the light!!!Let’s face the truth, the way you dress, wear your hair, walk, and talk says A LOT about what you think of yourself What we are suggesting is that if you take the time to dress up a little, you may be amazed at what comes out of you. We are not suggesting that you have to be snobby, or buy expensive clothing. NO, quite the contrary! Things on the sales rack are the places we hit first at every store.Our goal is to makeover woman and men that have had a really hard time in life, those who struggle with their identity. We want to show them that there is a light inside, and that we need them in this world.Our ultimate goal though is to draw out hearts; hearts buried in the muck of life. Many people walk around with their heads down, wondering who they are. They dress in ways that may seem okay to them, but in reality it's showing the world that they don’t really think much of themselves.As you can tell, Joli Captivant has two main facets to it, physical and mental. We want to see people look their absolute best and we also want them to see that they have a rare inner beauty in them that is just dying to come out if they just open themselves up to it.All in all we want to show people, especially women, that they truly are Joli Captivant (Lovely and Captivating)!!!
