Hey, here I am. Playing the fiddle and using my voice - both things which I love! They are a big part of my life. They are work, they are pleasure!
My foremost genre is Folk and I have an eye particularly on Irish trad music and go for a session, if there is any nearby!
For seven years I played with contemporary folk band Instinkt and really enjoyed performing our very own music! But the band had its time and now I perform with quite different set ups.
PRISME: PRISME..s first CD "Livets Træ -Tree of Life" was released autumn 08 just a week before they played for the Danish queen visiting the little Danish Island Skarø. PRISME plays Nordic and Celtic folk tunes as well as their own arrangements of Danish psalms. Some people name PRISME..s music "Heart Music" and that is also where they like their music to go! www.prisme-music.dk
TRADISH: A new constellation, formed in 2008, although members have previously played together in Irish trad. band Moving Cloud.
Tradish play a repertoire that covers both traditional and self-written material. As part of the living tradition, TRADISH are interested in exploring ways to connect the old and the new, the past and the present, keeping the music fresh and alive. www.tradish.dk
GREEN GROOVE: Is playing all the very nice Irish Music they can get close to. They met at one of many sunday sessions and were convinced that they had to bring the music further out, though still with the same pleasure and energy as at the sessions.
ANJA FØNSS: "Wait A Minute†is a debut album filled with roots-music of the finest draught. It is swampy blues with Mississippi inspiration, and laid back spirit from a New Orleans, where the clubs overflow with jazz, funk and blues of the optimistic kind. It is the songwriter alone with guitar or piano, and there are moods of vast spaces and open rooms – and “…there is always a song to sing†as Anja sings in the warm and swaying “Boogie Me Right†whose title summarizes the album perfectly. www.anjafoenss.dk
ESBEN LANGKNIV: Story maker and teller;0) His latest album "I Myrens Tegn" brought him the way all over to Minnesota for to explore the world of the main character in the story of the CD. Quite a few of his songs made their way to the Danish Radio and have been played a lot. www.esben.info
SØREN KORSHØJ: Troubadour and story teller with important things on mind. With optimism and a fascination of everyday lifes small mysteries, he takes the audience by the hand and shows them his world - their world. His second solo album was awarded as "Vise album of the year 09" at Danish Music Award - Folk. www.soerenkorshoej.dk
FRANK MEGABODY: In his own words: "During the last 20 years, I..ve been writing a lot of songs. Melancholy songs, without whinning. A slightly touch of a Berlin cabaret 1936. Smiles, without laugher and pain without tears.
Although I've made 9 albums, is wellknown from 20 years as MC on a lot of danish festivals, been host on more than 50 tv-programs on national television - this album will surprise everybody, who thinks they know me!"

GULDFUGLEN: Fairytales which brings people together. Modern Fairytales growing from the old Nordic mythes. Madam Grøn tells the dramatic stories and Violisen is painting soundscapes behind with her fiddle and voice. www.guldfuglen.dk
During the year I have recorded with Frank Megabody, Søren Korshøj, Martin Dale, Michael Back Jensen and Esben Langkniv. And right now I finish recordings with Tradish.
So...Nordic Folk, Irish Tradmusic and singer/song writing is mostly what my fiddle brings me into.
Jazzy, swingy, gypsy, funky (etc etc) stuff makes my voice playful.
And...groovy music gets my feet moving.
