STUBEAT Biography:When George met Annie for the first time in the earlies of 2005 she was about fifteen and the first thing he remembers is the meeting with her … and her mother. With Fotis Demertzis and Constantine Theofanides started recording their own songs, doing the production work and some rehearsal in cover songs. The first gig with the official name STUBEAT came at 21 of December 2005 in the “Mylos†which is placed in Thessalonica. Since then they didn’t stop performing in Thessaloniki, in Halkidiki, in Athens and other cities in Greece and becoming a much better band. This was also a year of great changes for STUBEAT. They changed their look, cleaning their image, their pop style in their own songs with more stage sound in the production and they replaced two members of the band, the drummer and the keyboard player. And finally in summer of 2008 they decided to change the band's name to STARBEAT!
