I am a Navy brat born in North Carolina. I was in the Air Force and now I am an Air Force wife, so I never stay in one place very long. That keeps me from getting bored. It also makes me more outgoing than most since I have to make friends relatively quickly. If not, by the time I do, I usually have to move again. I have been an actress since second grade when Mrs. Riley put me in "Hansel and Gretel" as an angel to watch over the two as they slept in the forest. I had my first lead in sixth grade as Wendy in Peter Pan. I gave up my aspiring career to focus on music for a while and gave choir my best shot. Not too shabby getting an A+ at the New York State School Music Association Voice Competitions! Didn't get back into acting until my senior year in college...had to do the responsible thing and get a degree in something worthwhile! Lotta good that did me, but I finally made my way back into the art. I have done community theater ever since...where there was a community theater and when I wasn't too busy chasing real-life bad guys or having kids. I just did my first feature-length film and it was like giving Meth to an addict. I still haven't come down and it has been five months now. I am jonesing bad for my next fix and the theater thing just isn't doing it for me anymore. The problem is that I am no longer a single chick able to make stupid decisions that affect only me. I wish I could just take that leap of faith and go for it...I guess right now I am just tiptoeing to the edge and fighting the vertigo...
