In 1978 He Was 2nd Runner Up For Wrestling Rookie Of The Year.
By 1982 David Headed To Wrestle In Florida For 7 Months
He Would Tag Team WIth Dory Funk Jr. And Be A Heel. David Came Back To Texas in August Of 82. And Went on to Fued With Jimmy Garvin Throughout 1983. Also Fueding With The Fabulous Freebirds (Michael Hayes,Terry Gordy,Buddy Roberts) WIth His Brothers Kerry And Kevin.In 1984 David Was Heading To Become NWA World Champion. But A Trip To Japan In Feb 84' And An Illness (Acute Enterits) That Can Be Deadly If Left Untreated. Took David's Life, From Wrestling, From His Family, And From All His Fans Around The World. David Is Greatly Missed By His Friends And Family To This Day.
