DJ ShowD’m

ShowD'm has always been involved in music from a young age. In 1999 ShowD'm began to get into music a bit more, firstly by writing lyrics, producing and shortly after teaching himself how to DJ. He then became one of the best DJs in his High School, putting on school raves ever so often. From there ShowD'm began linking up with other DJs, Crews and Youth Clubs and his name very quickly spiraled to the top, up against Snypez, K1, Flairy & Layza.
In 2005 ShowD'm teamed up with HIT EM UP Squad(Recently altered, Nia Jai, O.G, Liquid, Wrigley & ShowD'm) becoming the Official DJ and soon after started doing some of the Hottest sets to be heard on the Streets of Manchester. Performing at a couple events in Manchester and making his name one of the most mentioned, lead him to Unity Radio where he began the 'ShowD'm Show'. The show quickly became one of the most listened to within weeks.
In between all the excitement ShowD'm had produced a couple Grime Bangers. 'Niggz AKA Action - Could (Refix)’, 'Great Wall of China - ShowD’m’, 'Lone Ranger - ShowD'm' are just a few of the titles. In February 2006, he made ‘My Valentine' teaming up with Ideal (Rhythm 'N' Grime), Hypa (Higher Stakes), Dyno (MKI), Rolla (?), Fiasco (Reckless Crew) and Meistro (Rhythm 'N' Grime). The tune was a first of its kind at the time and gained love from people in Manchester and further.
After a year of the 'ShowD'm Show', ShowD'm merged his show with Manchester Movements in Autumn 2006 and raised the levels by presenting and guesting Crew's and MC's to help build up a bigger profile of the own. Since then the show has come to a halt because members of the show moving away for university.
ShowD’m has musical influences from UK Garage, Grime, R&B, Bashment, Hip-Hop and Funky house. ShowD’m also plays the above genres, which shows his love for music coming not just from one genre and the ability to DJ a wide range at Party’s.
ShowD'm has currently departed from HIT EM UP Squad due to differences in goals in life. ShowD’m is also helping the young adults and youths in Manchester communities with workshops (Unity Radio).
