I'm the Co-Founder of Jet City Improv and it's parent company Wing-It Productions. I also direct our very fun B-movie re-dubbing show Twisted Flicks.
I live to improvise on stage - Performing has always been in my blood - when I was growing up in Nebraska I would entertain my friends by doing accents, weird characters and impersonations. Who knew that people would pay to see me do that one day!
I've been improvising for almost twenty years, and still find it to be the most exciting theater I have ever done. (And I have performed everything from Mamet to Shakespeare, Melodrama to Greek drama, musicals from South Pacific to Grease, even some dance - you name it.)
I'm a trained actor (MFA - U. of Idaho - go Vandals!) so I approach improv with an actors point of view - I love scene work - great characters and stories.
When I'm not on stage with the highly talented Wing-It cast - I can be found somewhere in the bowels of our home, the Historic University Theater(the HUT)booking our shows on the road, fixing broken seats, grabbing rats from inside the furnace, stocking the concession stand, working at my desk or other glamorous theater owner duties.
The Wing-It team is the most talented group of people I have ever worked with - the amazing improv shows we create here are some of the best in the world, and I'm proud to share the stage with these crazy folk - they are also my extended family, and great friends. I love 'em all, and once you've met them, so will you.
In addition to Jet City and Twisted Flicks - I occasionally direct and performing in our Midnight or Wing-It Presents series - recently "Most Extreme Improv Ninja Challenge" and in March "The Irish Wake" at our theater the "HUT".
