About Me

I have a raging case of wanderlust, am mildly insomnaical, and I can't remember the last time I really got angry. I'm fascinated by mass transit, libraries, and other sorts of mundane things that are actually amazing human achievements. I think that comfort and confidence are sexy. I play keys/guitar and sing in the Philly based experimental rock band The March Hare , and I do other things too, but usually I think about music while doing them.

Also, I'm an illustrator, which means if you want something art related, I can probably make it for you. JonathanHafer.com

In general, I find life very interesting, even when it sucks.

My Interests

dictionaries and telephone books, plants, walking around and looking at stuff (I do that a whole lot), sneaking into Valley Forge Park at night, Biking!, fermenting things, leaving and finding things in unexpected places, modal auxiliaries, stencils (shh), 24/7diners, paint in your hair at 3am, not eating animals or starting wars, shenanigans, drunken shenanigans, pie

Things of late: recording at studio 4 with TMH, reading on the bus, being an uncle
