Rude Boy Roots is a Roots Reggae/Surf/Rock band that brings the styles of Sublime, Bob Marley, Toots and the Maytals and Jack Johnson together into their songs to create upbeat melodies that get you up and on your dancin' feet. Based out of the South Bay of Los Angeles, Rude Boy Roots was stuck in the middle of the new-age Reggae Revival, which had a huge influence on the way they write songs. Drummer, Alex Tauber and his lil brother Ben Tauber have been jammin with Guitarist/Vocalist Travis Walpole for about 6 years throughout high-school and into college. We discovered our Lead Singer Dan Kelly while playing an open-mic night in Hermosa Beach. From that point on they've been dishing out mellow, yet rootsy tunes that have up-beat chorus' to get any audience out of their seat and to the dance floor.Booking info:
