About Me
Hello. My name is Mikhail Bakunin, I grew up Kiev, and as I discovered via my work, it's now called Ukraine, I served in the Soviet Army, but I left soon after. Me and my people have been living on an island for several years. We ran over a group of people known as the Dharma Initiative, and used their equipment to further our motives. I was in charge of the Dharma station known as "The Flame", which is used to communicate with the outside world. I sometimes find my work makes people happy, as a few months ago I was visited by Ben Linus and Juliet, and I showed Juliet a video of her sister and her sister's child. However, a little before that, a plane crashed on our island. We were able to capture four of them (We released one) and soon after that, I was joined at The Flame by my good friend Bea Klugh. However, very recently some of the survivors discovered The Flame. Posing as "the last surviving member of the Dharma Initiative" I attempted to capture them, but they saw through my act, they captured me, and Bea, but by her request, I was able to kill her, so she would have some dignity instead of being held hostage for Jack, one of the survivors still captured at the time. Soon after this, one of the survivors caused the destruction of the place I has lived for nearly all my time on the island. As we journied to my people's headquarters they tried to pry information from me, but being loyal to my people, I did not reveal anything. Soon we approached the sonic defense system, sorrounding my people's territory. If someone crosses it, it releases a loud noise, that can kill you. I tried to trick them by saying it hasn't worked in a long time, in hopes of killing at least one of them, however one of them, in a fit of anger shoved me through the sonic defense. Fortunately, it was not set to 'lethal', and just knocked me out. I got back up and proceeded to the Barracks where my people live, but when I found that they were gone, I searched for them. I saw a signal flare in the sky and ran towards it. Unfortunately it was more of the survivors, they were with a woman, who was dreadfully wounded. They held me prisoner, threatening to use the flare gun they found at close range... on me, but I struck up a deal with them, I would use the skills I had learned in the army to heal her, in exchange for them letting me walk free. I was able to save the woman's life, but during the process I noticed she had a communication radio. Since my people do not want the survivors leaving, I tried to steal it, but the Korean survivor caught me. In the end I walked away unscathed. I soon ran back to my camp, and was shocked to find them together with the man who shoved me through the fence in the first place. You can imagine my shock, and then for unworthy he began to beat me furiously. I later saw him and Ben walk off to a location I did not know. One night, Ben interrupted me from a game of chess with Richard, telling me to go off to the Looking Glass to find out what Charlie's doing there. I was shocked that Ben had lied to me, but took off anyways. While preparing to dive underwater, I had an encounter with one of the survivor's friends, Desmond. I shot at him, but he got away. I went down after him, but when I emerged in The Looking Glass, I couldn't find him. I contacted Ben, and we had an argument about his lies. I then went out and killed the two Looking Glass inhabitants, Greta, and Bonnie. I was about to shoot Bonnie, when Desmond emerged from the weapons closet, and shot me with a spear gun. Little did he know, I was not dead. When he was not looking, I snuck on some scuba diving gear, and dove outside the window of the equipment room, where I saw Charlie, talking to some woman, via screen connection. I threw a grenade at the window, causing water to fill up in the room, and killing Charlie... but am I dead?
