[BIO]
CinemA:
One year after the infamous blizzard of nineteen ninety six, around the
same time Wu Tang Clan dropped a double disk entitled “Forever,” a
young fiery lyricist by the name of III Oueax (pronounced “three
weeks”) shattered the eardrums of other emcees on local blocks and
public schools. Originally introduced as the fourth member of a local
crew The Black Gods (an elite group of just four heavy hitting emcees),
Oueax became known as a serious contender on the local and online
battle circuit. With the Black Gods, Oueax recorded an EP entitled “The
Grand$on (2001),” but it was never officially released. The Black Gods
soon disbanded and Oueax was left to create a name for himself as an
individual. Ironically, in 2001 he started by changing his name. His
new identity was CinemA ClipS, capitalizing on his movie-like wordplay
and versatility (also his love for classic movies). Next he decided to
form a small crew of emcees who had similar styles of rapping he had
met locally. The group was to be called "Exodus," inspired by biblical
history. Soon the group was releasing mixed CDs namely "X Marx Tha
Spot (2003)" and merchandise to the local public. While beginning to
make public appearances as a group, they adopted the title "Exodus
Entertainment." The crew gained a massive local buzz, and Oueax (now
CinemA) reinvented himself to perfection. The group continued to
flourish all the way through the release of the label’s first major album,
CinemA’s “MT: The Man, the Mic, the Legend (2004)” entirely self funded
and self produced minus two songs, which solidified the boys of "Exodus
Entertainment Music (the label)" as a force to be reckoned with…and
CinemA ClipS as the self-proclaimed “Modern-day Mozart.” A decade
later, CinemA continues to be the powerhouse producer, but is
concentrating more on his musical talents such as singing, song and
score writing, piano and violin playing, and film directing. He is also
becoming much more of the business-oriented executive at "Exodus
Entertainment Group, LLC." This coming work, “MT: The Evolution of
Excellence,” a blend of Rock, Hip hop, Industrial, Funk and elements of
others will be he and AJX's brainchild. “We are destined to change the
music world,” he adds, “and you are destined to follow us…we are the
Exodus!”
AJX:
“Gravity” guitars, bass, drums/percussion, backing vocals (kind of),
assistant producer/engineer age: 22 birthday: 11SEP83 Born and raised
in Northern Pennsylvania and Southern NY. I started playing clarinet in
elementary school, then switched to the guitar when I realized there’s
no clarinet in Metallica! I started playing guitar at age 12, taught myself
how to play (maybe that’s why the shit I write is so fucked up). I started
off by learning Metallica’s Black Album from the TAB book…then it all
went crazy from there! I started playing drums about age 17, System of
a Down’s “Toxicity” was the first album I bought where I listened to the
drums more than guitar…that’s what got me hooked on drums. The only
thing else I have to say is, I’m going to make sure CinemA’s next album
is some of the sickest shit anyone’s ever heard!
Larissa Moore:
With her soulful voice and skilled guitar playing, Larissa Moore is no
stranger to the music scene. Being the Daughter of a local musician has
given her a lifelong exposure to the local music scene. When Larissa
was younger, her mother had her singing with her on car trips and at
home (where Larissa received most of her vocal training). In addition to
both of her parents, artists ranging from Janis Joplin, Pixies, Rancid,
The Distillers, to Johnny Cash, Tom Petty, and the Cranberries have
influenced Larissa. From her very first performance at a Delmarva
Friends of Folk Coffee house through today, Larissa has been a popular
performer at local open mics, churches, and talent shows since the age
of 15. Larissa has had experience playing with a few local bands and
her current project is the new group The Lusionistics. Now 20, she
writes and performs her own material and has learned piano and bass
guitar. Larissa's eclectic musical sets consist of original material as well
as contemporary covers of various popular artists
