Lirico-spinto tenor Brian Landry received accolades of highest praise reserved only for the top tenors of the world after performing the title role in his first Otello with Union Avenue Opera in St. Louis, MO. Just prior to the Otello, he was equally triumphant in Boston with his premier of Turandot in the role of Calaf. Here is an excerpt from a review written by Ali R. In 2005, Brian Landry sang at Symphony Hall in Boston during the annual PopSearch contest sponsored by the Boston Pops.In March 2007, Brian graduated from the prestigious Accademia Verdiana in Busseto, Italy, where he studied voice and operatic interpretation with the great Verdian Maestro Carlo Bergonzi. Mr. Landry was a highlighted performer at the final concert of the Accademia on March 31, 2007 in the Teatro Verdi in Busseto.
