Derrick L. Bell is a young composer, and musician from Gardena, California. In 2008 at the age of 20 he graduated from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Film Scoring. He has had the opportunity to perform with people such as: Ray Charles, Slash (Guns & Roses), Jackson Brown, Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, David Bryan (Bon Jovi), Bill Cosby, Jasmine Trias (American Idol final 3), Shan Rigsbee (vocalist in motion picture score “Crashâ€) Kirk Franklin, Michelle Williams (Destiny’s Child). Derrick plans on composing music for motion pictures while remaining active in his playing, and producing.
