Speaking of... an example of the truest form of HONEST emotion-based music. Most of these songs were created while lying on the floor experimenting with samplers, different live instruments, synths and drum machines. We attempt to capture passion at its truest moment: the moment that it actually occures. The recordings are simply documentation. Most of these songs are products of boredom, stress, or odd points of inspiration. Please enjoy and be open minded, these unorthodox songs and perfomance styles(s) are like therapy for us (and hopefully you?).
Willie W and Benji P, 2 members of the hip hop crew Master Piece Collective (MPC), have too much time on their hands and love alternate forms of expression (side projects ahoy!) This started as just messing around and became more serious as we grew progressively more poor and deaf (and lackluster...AND amazing!).We are not a traditional "band" in that we have several members performing different musical tasks, its just a few of us struggling to keep that band aesthetic while staying true to the experimental compositional roots of this project. These Lo-fi sounds are contrived an carefully crafted, we do whatever we can to preserve analog ideals, while embracing digital means at the same time.
