About Me

I'm not what you would call a turntablist, by any means. I'm self-taught in several professional-quality digital audio workstations & use a few other mixing tools. Basically, I create beats & remixes. I got into music production as a side-project/hobby in 1996 when a DJ friend introduced me to some unique software. Influenced by all the great music that the 70's thru early 90's produced, my roots are firmly entrenched in hip hop, house, breakdancing & Mexican folk music. I've always constantly juggled several side-projects (writing, anything techy, etc.) but creating good music is always at the top of the pile.
Blessed to grow up in various sections of Los Angeles, this exposed me to MANY different types of people & music & I absorbed it all. My parents always encouraged me to newer heights (especially moms) but I'm a firm believer in the fact that "it takes a village to raise a child" because teachers, coaches, school secretaries, my friends' parents all educated, nurtured & helped me along. I'm a big fan of technology (especially in how we can utilize it to close the informational gap between the socioeconomic classes), books, music, writing & volunteerism. I strongly believe that we ALL need to give back to our communities, especially where our children are concerned as they're the foundation of our future...passing along positivity every step of the way.
Learn from & respect our elders, appreciate & educate our youth.
Keep checking back as I'm working on creating new beats & digging up some special, tribute remixes. For related info, visit my blog .
