Stench was formed in the winter of 2006 by guitarists Al and Randy. Eventually, the two decided it was time to get serious, and long time friend/bass player Dario-Raul was drafted. Randy met drummer Natel DeJieu in New Brunswick, NJ, and before long Natel was asked to join the band to finalize the group of thrashers. Early 2008 the band released a five song demo with this lineup., simply known as 'Demo'. Almost immediately after the demo release, Natel and Dario-Raul were thrown out of the band.
Al and Randy wanted to take the music in a new direction. Being the only members again, it seemed time to start over. Not long after the first demo release, bass player Earl Deathmaster is asked to join the band. Eventually enough new material was written and recorded and Stench released their second demo within the year, 'The Troops of Obliteration'.
The band lineup is currently solid and Stench is back at the drawing board again working on their third demo.
