About Me
From the early age of 10 I picked up my first pair of bongos and began to participate in the church ministry. Since then I developed a passion not only for bongos but for timbal as well. I remember a couple albums that i studied and learned from, which were mainly christian like, Orq. Querubin (rompiendo barreras), their second album (guerreros del senor),Puchi colon (voy a comenzar),Orquesta xzariz (Senor te amo)... After a while thanks to a good friend I was introduced to the secular salsa scene and I began to study albums like Ray Barreto (Giant force),Tito rodriguez jr. (Eclipse), and Rafael de jesus (Twice as good)... developing technique and chops I moved into the local music scene and since then ive performed with Adalberto Santingo, Frankie Negron, Luigi Texidor, Edgar Joel Y Anthony Colon, Micheal Stuart, Brenda K. Starr, Johnny Rivera, Giro, DOMINIC, Richie Ray and Bobby Cruz, Paquito Guzman, Luisito Rosario, Sammy Gonzalez from Apollo sound and last but not least Justo Betancourt... in the christian scene Orq. Xariz, Jose papo Rivera and Puchi Colon!! I never thought I would make it this far, I will continue to move foward and set a mark in the industry. I also want to thank god for my musical talent, Without him I would have none!!!!
