About Me

I've been a writer all my life, but started getting published in magazines in the late 1980's, most notably Mezlim to which I was a regular contributor. My first book, Understanding Chaos Magic, was published in 1996 by Capall Bann Publishing and later translated to German and published by Edition Esoterick
Meanwhile, Capall Bann Publishing also published the Spirits of the Elements series;
Spirits of the Earth
Spirits of the Air
Spirits of the Fire
Spirits of the Water
Spirits of the Aether
As well as my personal favourite in this genre, Chaos Monkey, and Women of Power.
But one thing I always wanted as a writer, was my own fantasy world. in 2005, I found myself writing it.
The Goblin series starts with Dance of the Goblins, published by International Waters Publishing . This is a small, relatively new publisher, so if you have any trouble contacting them through their website, drop me a note. I'll put you in touch. If you're under 16, MySpace security won't let me reply unless you also add me as a friend.
Dance of the Goblins will be followed by Demoniac Dance and Power of the Dance.

Genre jumping

Continuing from the previous blog... I was walking up the hill towards home one day thinking about poltics, which is unusual for me. I don't do politics. A line went through my head, a simple statemen...

Writing History, Continued

Once the first book was published, it was like entering a closed society. The published writer. Getting more books published with the same publisher was almost too easy. Only once did they turn down a...

First contact

Ok so I've taken a while to get round to filling in some of the information blocks. Sue me, I'm a busy person. I am a writer. I am also a person, but that's on another page. This is my author page, an...

A little background

I started writing when I was 6. I hardly knew how to write before the need to 'write something' had hold of me. I sent a first story to a publisher at 13. Got my first rejection slip. Oddly, it didn't...
