After re-decorating their store in Krystalgade in Copenhagen, Wood Wood wanted to celebrate this by inviting Hess Is More to play a live set a late friday evening.
Mikkel Hess and his band showed up with a vast amount of instruments, lab coats and surveillance cameras attached to their heads.
The small basement shop was crowded and outside hundreds of people watched the show through the foggy windows and on the small black & white monitors set up for the occasion.
After a brief visit from the law enforcement the band decided to perform an impro disco track and Mikkel announced “Now we’ll play some Wood Wood disco for youâ€. The following jam was later developed into track no. 9 featured on the "Live at Wood Wood" album.
Enjoy.
