The Walker Brothers are a multi instrumental acoustic duet from North Carolina's Outer Banks. Their influences come from a wide variety of Blues, Rock, Country, Bluegrass, Folk and Jazz music. In their own style they can deliver a performance that caters to an early dinner crowd as well as a late night lively bar atmosphere. After forty-five years of combined performance experience The Walker Brothers have learned that attention to a few small details can be conducive to a pleasurable experience for the venue owner as well as the clientele. These details include, proper attire for the occasion, impeccable sobriety and superb performance. The Walker Brothers are comprised of Chris Francis, vocals, acoustic and electric guitars, and Jeff Walker, lead and backing vocals, Martin D-28 guitar, Kentucky mandolin, Lee Oscar and Honer harmonicas. Chris began playing guitar at an early age and has been performing for 29 years. He has performed on the Outer Banks since 1990 as a solo player and with numerous bands including The Modern Pirate Band, Faulty Logik, Missionary Stew, The Patty Costis Band and most recently the Wilder Brothers. Over the past fifteen years Jeff has performed with several prominent Outer Banks bands including the Bluegrass group Shorefire and electro-acoustic greats The Wilder Brothers. This is the first project of this type that Chris and Jeff have put together although they have enjoyed jamming together in other ensembles. Additionally, Jeff has provided audio reinforcement for many local Outer Banks acts. He has also provided audio reinforcement for regional and national acts that have appeared and performed on The Outer Banks. Local veteran musicians on The Outer Banks know Jeff for his precise and warm audio engineering and the use of high quality equipment. With smooth vocals and crisp guitars an evening with the Walker Brothers is sure to be a sonic treat.Additional Links:The Walker Brothers at Zoomshare
