The Duplicates formed in the bleak Winter of 2006 in Treorchy, Rhondda Cynon Taff after meeting at a gig. After toying with a few song suggestions over a pint, the boys went to the Bar and bought another, and another, and then another. This would prove to be a pre-cursor to a pattern which has cast a shadow over the band since their first rehearsal, where raging hangovers have continued to loom large. Curse those Sunday morning practice sessions!
However, through the thick and heavy haze of alcohol, the belief that this band could be the greatest covers band the World has ever known has remained. The band have brought together a range of influences (cock rock anyone? No??
