That's what I call my first album "Permiso para ser yo".
My name is Cristina Llorente and I'm 21 years old.
LONDON
Cristina Llorente has been trained for years in singing, dancing and acting in the best schools in London, such as Pineapple in Covent Garden, Danceworks in Oxford Street and DSL (Drama Studio London) in Ealing Broadway. “London is for me a very special and magical city. The wonderful blend of cultures that I have seen in there has really opened my eyes. At the end of the day, London has helped me to conceive and compose my music in a very cosmopolitan way, with lots of different rhythms. Britt music has deeply influenced me”, she says.
Cristina has always juggled her training with performances in big musicals. She owns an experience of more than 300 performances in the best theatres in Spain. She also had the chance to be on stage in London.
Her training in Madrid has also been thorough, in dancing, dramatic art and singing.Javier Muñoz says that “it is very easy to perceive the huge talent inside her, but her secret is hard work, her continuous will to learn and grow, and her absolute connection with the audience. That’s why she will go far”.
Although she has been offered many projects in cinema, television, theatre and advertising, Cristina is totally devoted to work on her first album, in which she applies all the experience gathered during all these years

"We are really excited working on a big show for this launching. We will mix the strength of a live show with the magic of the lighting and stage design, street-dance, funk, hip-hop and jazz with 10 dancers. We will also include video and special effects. A concert I have always dreamed of. I hope we manage to move every single person there”.
Su concierto-presentación fue en el teatro de Madrid y acudieron 1.500 espectadores. Fue espectacular. Puro espectáculo. Ahora prepara el de Barcelona el próximo 21 de junio. Cristina Llorente cuenta además con una experiencia de más de trescientas representaciones en los mejores teatros de España, como protagonista de musicales. También tuvo la oportunidad de actuar en Londres (Grange Court Theater).
Many of Cristina’s songs talk about dreams, adventures, hopes… The big quest of this young artist starts next June, because, apart from the concert, her new album will be out. “Many people say to me the music market is not in its best moment but, I see it as a challenge. I don’t mind to fight for a dream like this, and it wouldn’t be me if I couldn’t sing and dance”, she says.
"At last “Permiso para ser yo” is the album I have always dreamed of and at least on the 5th of june will be released!!!"

All tracks have been composed by Cristina Llorente and Javier Muñoz.
Pepo Scherman is the Musical Director of Cristina’s album. He has three Latin Grammys with Alejandro Sanz. Since he heard the demos, he bet for her and after four months of recording he has given her style a high quality sound and a very fine, to the detail production.

In the last year she had the recognition of the professionals: nominated for Best Actress in Max Awards of the Scenic Arts 2007; Best Upcoming Actress in Garamond National Theatre Awards 2007; and finalist in Telón-Chivas National Awards as Best Musical Performer. She was also chosen to perform as a guest star at the Gran Vía de Amigos de los Festivales awards ceremony.
