Born in Denaby Main a small mining village in South Yorkshire, England. Carolann is an Avid Fan of Country Music from her early years.
Learning to Play Guitar and Violin at school placed her in good stead when in later years Carolann became a professional musician and Vocalist.Carolann’s unique voice and love of music had crowds at a local restaurant, where she had started singing, asking for more. A request from a local charity for Carolann to sing on stage as the climax to their Charity Weekend launched her to local stardom and gave her the confidence to start a new career.Starting with word of mouth bookings Carolann went from strength to strength as each venue asked for her to return and National Agencies started sending her bookings.Carolann went on to make her first recording in 1998 called ‘Singing for my Supper’ referring to her humble beginnings, and Touring the USA, singing at Venues in Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee, including singing the American National Anthem at the Original Grand Old Opry, The Ryman Auditorium. Carolann has toured several US States since then including North Carolina Branson Missouri, Texas, California, Washington & Las Vegas.By 2003 Carolann had made 2 more recordings Called ‘A Touch of Fever’ which contained 2 songs written by the Award winning Rod MacLane from the Band “Feverâ€, and the album ‘By Request’ that contained songs requested by her many fans. These two albums received rave reviews in Magazines and on various radio shows as far a field as Australia, Malta, France, Holland and of course the USA.‘Singing for my Supper’ and ‘A Touch of Fever’ are no longer cut and the better of these two Cd’s is now being combined into ‘The Early Years’ a new CD brought out at the end of 2008.2007 saw Carolann Revamping her stage sets and Concentrating on her massive Solo Gig List for the Year and also fitting in Studio Time for 2007’s CD, ‘Easy On The Eyes’, and also fulfilling a lifelong ambition from the Age of 9. Opening for George Hamilton IV in September of that year.After visiting the USA in November & December 2007, Carolann was in full swing to take on the nearly 150 bookings she had for 2008, Rehearse with her New Duo, and Band, ready for the road in 2008 and once again spend some time in the studio to bring out her best CD to date the critically acclaimed “Between Heaven & Hellâ€Whilst all this was going on Carolann also started a ‘New Career’ as a Radio Presenter on ukcountryradio.com an Internet Country Music Radio Station where she presents a monthly ‘Ladies night’ Show.With an impressive list of bookings already for 2009 /2010 Carolann is now available dependent on Dates as a Solo, Duo, or as a 3 or 4-piece Band with Keyboards and Drums.Carolann is now looking for Tours within Europe and the USA for 2009 or 2010 as well as Bookings at Clubs throughout the UK for that period.
