RoadTrain, startete in den frühen 80’igern in Ost-Berlin mit einer Band namens „WilhemsRock†(heute FuzzleFoot, check it out.. ) nicht als Musiker sondern als Techniker fürs Equipment usw. WilhelmsRock steht für Wilhelmsruh, das ist ein Ortsteil von Pankow im Norden Ost-Berlins direkt an der Berliner Mauer nahe dem Märkischen Viertel.
Weil unserere Anlage im Grunde genommen unbrauchbar war borgten wir uns, besonders zu den so genannten „Einstufungen“ die komplette Technik (Back line, Mixer) inklusive Techniker von der Jonathan Blues Band.
RoadTrain war zu dieser Zeit ein hoffnungsloser Elektronik-Idiot, der mit dem Lötkolben herumrannte, die besten Gitarren-Verzerrer mit Röhren in Ost-Berlin baute und zu dem Zeitpunkt niemals daran dachte selbst Musik zu machen – das ist sehr Schade denn mit ihm ist der Menschheit ein großartiger Künstler entgangen!…hi, hi, hi.
Künstlerisch, war „WilhemsRock“ von Bands wie Steve Miller, Rolling Stones, usw. beeinflusst. Wie auch immer, die Jungs haben auch selbst ein paar sehr gute Songs geschrieben. Ich erinnere mich an „Ikarus“ – sehr schön aber leider gibt es aus dieser Zeit keine Bänder mehr.
Mittlerweile sind über 20ig Jahre vergangen. Um das Jahr 2003 erwähnte meine Tochter Susanne alias LeoVoice (damals 14), das sie zusammen mit ihren beiden Freundlinnen aus Buddelkasten Tagen eine Rock-Band gründen wollte. Ich dachte, das sie sich eigentlich mehr auf ihre Schule konzentrieren sollte aber wie wir alle wissen „"its only rock and roll ... und ich vertraue ihr".
Die Mädchen gründeten die Rock-Band „Mortisha“. Bis heute spielten Mortisha bereits in zahlreichen Clubs als Support von Monokel, Engerling und Starfuckers sowie auf einigen Festivals in Deutschland.
Kurzum, begeistert von den künstlerischen Aktivitäten meiner Tochter (alias "LeoVoice") bin ich in den nächsten Musikladen GERANNT und habe mir ein Roland V-drum set gekauft...
I love trommeln und nehme mittlerweile professionelle Lessons…schau wir mal was als nächstes passiert.

I was responsible for the entire equipment as such as 2nd+n hand amplifiers, speaker systems, time wise we borrowed equipment from Jonathan Blues Band. Those days, I designed probably the best guitar distortion units based on tubes.
Artistically, WilhemsRock was influenced by Steve Miller Band, Rolling Stones, etc. WilhemsRock also wrote few nice songs by themselves, I remember the song called "Ikarus" – very nice! Unfortunately, I have no tapes from those days. However, I never thought about to be a musician because I was an enthusiastic electronic Idiot - that's a pity because a marvellous artist has been lost! :-))
In between over 20 years are gone. In 2003, my daughter Susanne alias leoVoice (14) mentioned to me that she want to found a Rock-Band, together with her two girlfriends, known since children times. I want her to focus more on school and such things but as probably all of us know, "its only rock and roll ..." - and I trust her. The girls-trio founded the Band called “Mortishaâ€. Over the last time, Mortisha also got nice opportunities to support some professional Bands as such as Monokel, Engerling, Starfuckers, etc.
To keep the long story short, absolutely delighted by my daughters (alias "LeoVoice") activities- I went straight into the next music store and bought my Roland drum-set.
I love to play with - At the present time I take professional lessons just to come up to speed.... let's see what will be happen next.
