Here are some groups; SKA, swing (orchestra type music), I'd like to say punk...but that is accepted in different ways. So lets name some bands. Basics; Green Day, M.M. Bosstones, Relient K, Saves the Day, Ben Folds (and if you even say he isn't punk i'll slap you, he's more punk rock than YOU, i guarantee) AC/DC, Brandnew, Beloved, Bright Eyes, Damien Rice, Evergreen Terrace, Me w/ out You, Copeland, and Nora Jones. A couple more? sure why not... More into comedy than scary. Any "good buddy" films. You know, the kind that make you appreciate your best friend. Not into romantic films as of late. Stick to the classics; Star Wars, Dumb and Dumber, Karate Kid, Jungle Book, Wayne's World, Bill and Ted, Space Balls, Brick, So I Married an Axe Murderer, Princess Bride, Office Space, and Batman.
Television:
Adult Swim on Cartoon Network.......need i say more. Comedy Central. G4. Nick. Heroes. Lost. The Office.
Books:
Any books about or instructing martial arts, old classic stories, and any books that have educational purposes. And a few books that help with God and relationships. And comic books....YES THEY COUNT!
