I was born in Texas, raised in Florida, went to high school in New Jersey, and drove across the country when I was 18, winding up in San Francisco, where I went to college. I've lived on the West Coast since 1985, 8 years in SF, 9 years in Portland, OR, and LA for the past couple of years. I have a Master's Degree in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University. I have had stories and poems published in Perceptions, Creek, Harvest, Strange Tales of an Unreal West, and agumsfa.
