Serafin[e]

Serafine was brought into the world by angels circa 1981. He was raised by caring, but divorced parents and as a result developed a sense of individuality and uniqueness at a very young age. Stemming back to his earliest childhood memories, Serafine directed his thoughts toward the sky, and never towards the ground. He never had a problem fighting off the preoccupation of trivial life obstacles. Serafine had a strong appreciation for harmony within the universe-which is to say the balance of good and evil, and could instantly formulate ‘outside-of-the-box’ thoughts without hesitation. His life was always inundated with questions and often led to tests of his fortitude, or his will to survive. His art and music, conceptually retains all the lessons, ideas, and passions ever encountered throughout his life. To Serafine, a painting, sculpture, or a musical piece, was never perceived to be anything less than a pure extension of his essential being, or persona. It is believed in Catholicism that the Serafine (Italian for Serafim) is among the highest choir of angels who dwell in the chamber of where the presence of God is felt and/or heard. It is also believed that the Serafine sing in perfect harmony so loud as to shake the very foundation of heaven itself, which also represents the actual voice of God. Though he does not consider himself religious, Serafine does approach his spirituality with an open mind and strong beliefs in something larger than himself.
