About Me

Having been spun out of the Government Cheese program, Wop is finding a way to land on his feet to keep the music going. And when that fails, he does know how to make a mean glass of water.
With all that in mind came The Kind Eye Project.... which started out as not so much of a band but a pool of talented musicians from which come good music. The basic recipe being the same the flavor of every show has its own spicy groove. That same idea of a good groove and a good time has become the central vital theme of the band and it's the thread that ties all the music that we play together. All the covers are from different genres but they all have a definable groove to it. That very same philosophy has also been the guide track for the development of our various originals.
Most of all, the Kind Eye is about having a good time. We thrive on live and sharing in the groove. We aims to please. Hey, if we don't know it but we're feelin it, we might just take a crack at it anyway. And whether we're throwing down a smokin cover or jammin' out to one of various originals, a good time is gonna be had by all who come out.
Some great little videos shot by our friend Brooks at some of our shows:

Aside from our ever-growing catalog of original tunes (including the hilariously popular parody "Motel Carolina"), we've covered tunes from many groups and styles including the following:

. Santana . Jack Johnson . The Grateful Dead . the Rolling Stones . Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals . Oasis . Phish . Bil Withers . Stone Temple Pilots . Matchbox 20 . Ten Years After . Bob Dylan . Crosby, Stills, & Nash . Johnny Cash . The Commodores . Elvis . The Band . Nickelback . Prince . John Prine . the Allman Brothers . Gov't Mule . String Cheese Incident . The Talking Heads . Lynyrd Skynryd . Wilson Pickett . Pink Floyd . the Beatles . 3 Doors Down . 7 Mary 3 . Live . Tom Petty . Van Morrison . the Doors . Stevie Wonder . Stanley Clarke . Little Feat . Britney Spears . Tenacious D . Incubus . Nirvana . Pearl Jam . Jason Mraz . Roger Alan Wade . Cross Canadian Ragweed . and we're always adding new cool grooves!
