About Me

WHEN THE POWER OF LOVE OVERCOMES THE LOVE OF POWER, THE WORLD WILL KNOW PEACE. -Jimi Hendrix All Around Musical Melody Maker born in Colorado, lived in New Mexico for a while but will always be repin' the 3oh!3. My whole life since I could remember my dad raised me on classic rock. Zeppelin, Floyd, Beatles, Stones, Dylan, Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers Band, CSNY, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Steve Miller Band, Santana - ECT>>> I have pretty much always loved real hip hop, - Big L- R.I.P., Biggie- R.I.P., Pac- R.I.P., Pun- R.I.P., Dmc- Jam master Jay- R.I.P, The Pharcyde, Hieroglyphics, Rakim, KRS-One, Common, Jadakiss, Brother Ali, Mos Def, Ludacris, Snoop, J-5, Wyclef Jean, Redman, Blackalicious, The Roots, Lil' Wayne, Eminem, Kanye, OutKast, T.I., Jay-Z, Wu Tang, NaS, Talib Kweli, Cypress Hill, The Game, Cassidy, UGK Pimp C-R.I.P., Twista, Young Jeezy, Juelz Santana, Jedi Mind Tricks, Atmosphere, 3-6,ECT>>> I never really started learning the GREAT power that Music has to offer until I hit about Ten. That's when my dad bought me my very first Guitar!!! A smaller Electric with^ A Built in Amp, So basically I could rock out Anywhere! I took about two lessons before I decided I had very little patients and just couldn't hang wit the lessons. My dad tought me a couple chords and rifs to start out but besides that, I Just started teaching myself. I progressively got better and started getting more serious about this whole music thing. Through my early teens I was really into Surfer Rock/Punk/Alternative, Sublime, NOFX, Offspring, Bob Marley, Pennywise, Unwritten Law, Green Day, 311, Incubus, ECT>>> I had a couple good buddies through Middle School and incouraged them to learn Bass and Drums. We formed my first band, "DELINQUENT ACT", we were so funny but that didn't stop us from doin' the damn thang. After that all wore off I found some other guys and formed a band entitled "RADIUS". We were a tad better than my first ever musical project and seemed to have more structure to the melody. For a few years I was in and out of various bands including "LACK OF OXEGEN", "L.O.O.", Fronted by a good friend now in a better place, R.I.P. Jesse, you are missed! When I got to High school I found some people who were really serious about music and I finally got some commitment from some people that I haven't had before. We started "STREET LIGHT SYMPHANY". This project was the best of my short musical life as we practiced and performed as much as mentally possible!!! Our biggest was "eXposure", a battle of the bands at the Ogden theatre in Denver. We didn't win but I felt on top of the world at that point and I new from there this is my LIFE!!!! Unfortunatly the band had it's heartships and spilt our seperate ways... Since then I've been on my own practicing and writing new material every day. It wasn't until about '04 when I started getting back to my roots of classic rock and psychedelic Music with gaining max respect for Jam bands such as Cheese, Umphrey's, Keller, Yonder, Moe., Michael Franti, Leftover Salmon, Galactic ECT>>> This was the year of Music!!! Still to this day attend enough concerts and shows to fill one's life!! You will see me at many shows so say what's up:) I have become a solo artist for the moment. These past two year I've gotten more involved and interested in this Glitch step, Dance, Breakbeat, Drum& Bass, Crunk, Electronic, Digital Mayhem and am very impressed and influenced by such artists as ZILLA, STS9, The Glitch Mob, Lotus, The New Deal, Disco Biscuits, Pnuma Trio, Bassnectar, Vibesquad, Pretty Lights and too many more to name. Don't get me wrong, I will never, and I repeat, NEVER loose my roots. My love for classic rock. Steve Miller was the best show I've ever seen! For real:) And believe I know how to throw the devil horns out and rock your face off! I love music, Doesn't really matter what it is. I went to the Colorado Symphony Orchestra the other week.. It was bad ass! Such amazing displays of musicianship! That always makes my heart drop and gives me goosebumps when I recognize beautiful talent! As for my music, I plan to combine real instruments such as guitar, bongos, keys, and other do~dads and what-nots, along with beats, and electronic Jams! I love too many varieties of music to just stick to one genre. Have an open mind..~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~ I truly believe music is the ultimate healer. No matter what mood I'm in, playing/Listening to music always makes me happy, and motivated, influenced to create and construct my own music! I feel this is where I belong, what I'm meant to do. Any collaborations with any type of artist are welcome to the studio! Good Vibes, and to all I wish the very best in this quickly rotating plain of existence. Life is filled with surprises, expect the unexpected. Savor every moment as if it were your last! You want to know more, you know where to find me.
