Mike is the guitarist, primary vocalist and also takes command as the principle songwriter. A student of guitarist extraordinaire KC's own Jeff Scheetz, Mike is both a student of guitar and a musical stylist. An ability to pair gripping lyrics with brillant guitarwork helped his previous band, Funkyard, rock the clubs of Kansas City, and finds a new purpose and prosperity with Mindtrick.
As bassist and backing vocalist for erstwhile KC band, The Sound and the Fury, Jay was a multitasking machine unto himself. As secondary vocalist for Mindtrick, he augments his thunderous basslines with choirboy vocal harmonies, as well as the occasional lead singer spot. Also a guitarist and a functional keyboard player, Jay has contributed to the band with some of his own songs.
Together the members of Mindtrick are a force to be reckoned with. Guaranteed to move and excite any crowd, they hint an era in heavy music long gone and a promise of a new age yet to come.
