TELL ME ABOUT YOURSELF - The Survey May, 1979
Birthplace: The capital of PA
Eye Color: The bluest of blue
Hair Color: The baldest of bald (and when not bald, brown)
Height: the rather normal height of 5'8" or so
Your Heritage: Swiss blood runs through my veigns. In 1805, I had relatives on my dad's mom's dad's side of the family who emigrated to Pennsylvania from Switzerland (I assume the German part of Switz). Also on my Dad's side I have German, and on my mom's side I have English, and Irish heritage as well on both sides. So I'm just a mut.
Your Weaknesses: ummm....... David Bromstad pizza Dolly Parton Nick Lachey decorative ampersands Lundbergh hand-blown glassware sharp, heavy, stainless steel scissors a 1st edition, dust jacketed, 1930, Nancy Drew book limited edition CD's in special packaging great Black and White photography Alpaca wool yarn antique, thick gauge steel, cake pans the Gilmore Girls hand-printed Asian paper a new Patty Griffin single a new Yann Tiersen CD quartersawn oak cats old, plaster walls vintage 1920's fabric nickel plated bathroom fixtures and a myriad of other weaknesses

Your Fears : Disgusting bugs water that I can't see the bottom of girls *down there* drowning
Your Perfect Pizza: Cheese and tomatoes
Thoughts First Waking Up: Sorry, that's confidential.
Your Best Physical Feature: My blue eyes, and my perfectly shaped, shaved head.
Your Most Missed Memory: Only one? Sorry, I'm a sap and a sentimentalist. Maybe the summers of '94, '96 and '97, as well as college '98-'01--life was *always* better before (because I forget the bad stuff)
Single or Group Dates: Single dates for me. But I'm not against group dates, I've just never been on one.
Do you Sing: Unfortuantely for anyone who hears me, yes. All the time.
Do you Shower Daily: Umm, yeah!
Have you Been in Love: many times.
Do you want to go to College: Already did
Do you belive in yourself: Sometimes. Depends on the challenge.
Do you think you are Attractive: When noone else is around to see me. Get me around people, and I drop a couple notches. But I'm not ugly.
Do you get along with your Parents: Yes, quite well. Did take a couple years to get to that point though.
In the past month have you gone on a Date: Yeah, I'm seeing someone, so I've had numerous dates
How do you want to Die: So quickly I didn't even know it happened. Or the Rapture.
What country would you most like to Visit: Well, most of the countries of Western Europe. I was most taken with Switzerland. But Russia (specifically St. Petersburg) holds great interest for me as well.
Number of Piercings: Well, I still have open holes in my tonge and ears, but used to have holes in my tragus, eyebrow, nose and labret
Number of Tattoos: None
Number of things in my Past I Regret: Too many to mention
In a Boy/Girl..

My Interests

Create your own Friend Quiz hereThe first thing I started collecting when I was young was Care Bear stuff. Man, Care Bears were *so* completely cool (and the original ones still are--screw this new Care Bear crap).
After the Care Bears, I started collecting older childrens books, and continue to do so to this day. If I do say so myself, I have a rather impressive collection of Nancy Drew's, Hardy Boys, Bobbsey Twins, Tom Swifts, and many {many} other series and books in the same vein.
I also collect other antiques and collectibles. Yes, I'm a dork. I know. I like photography, and in addition to my own photography, I look for great old photography.
Older architecture is also another large interest for me. Mainly architecture from between 1850 and the 1930's.

I'd like to meet:

  • my grandmothers (they passed away a long time ago)
  • Martha Stewart
  • the great *Dolly Parton*
  • Uma Pemmaraju (the best newscaster on TV)
  • David Bromstad (please tell me, who wouldn't want to meet him?!?!)
