Sept 28, 1987 in New Brunswick, New Jersey Nicholas Fuschino was born. Nicks interest in music began at the age of 10 when he had begun to learn to play the piano. At the age of twelve Nick started taking private lessons and began writing his own music. Nicks classical choice of music became more urban when he witnessed the scratching of records by Urban DJâ€--s. This is something that he could definitely see himself getting into, but with no one to counsel his technique & the lack of equipment, the thought of becoming a DJ stayed just that, a thought.
In Nicks sophomore year in 2002, he met a break dancer in High school named EJ, which led to Nick meeting EJ's little brother Erwin who we come to know as DJ FlipStyle. As a friendship began to build, Nick would discover more & more about the different techniques & the era of scratching records. It wasnâ€--t until 2004 when Flip signed Nick as FlipStyle Productions personal promoter under the name of DJ Spinz. Spinz put the word out about FlipStyle Productions & the second compilation that was to be released in March of 2005. Thanks to the promotional help of DJ Spinz, the company sold over 255 copies in just two weeks. From then on, Flip took DJ Spinz under his wing & made sure he showed him the ropes of scratching records & the importance of DJâ€--s to the Hip Hop world.
In 2006, FlipStyle Productions CEO DJ FlipStyle moved to Florida to receive his degree in recording arts, while Scruff Co CEO left New Jersey also. With hardly any staff left in the small township of New Jersey, DJ Spinz managed to keep things in order. He planned for the new beginning for when Flip would return, & he even bought his own equipment & turned his garage into a nice recording studio.
Now the year is 2007, and after a year of hiatus the whole FlipStyle camp is back to make better music than they made in the past. DJ Spinz is currently working with DJ FlipStyle on FSPs artist Scruff's new album entitled "My Life Is F.A.B", as well as the FlipStyle Mixtape,also newest Flipstyle artist Rez's mixtape, and plans on producing maybe yet another compilation with DJ FlipStyle before the end of the year are in the works. When asked about the big ideas for 2007, he answers "Watch out 07, its our time".
