Lil Rick was born at the medical university in Charleston, South Carolina on March 25th 1977 as
Richard Clay Flynn. His father was controlling and abusive toward his mother, Karen, and she left
him for hers and her sons saftey. Richard never really had a relationship with his father again but
did grow up close to his fathers mother, Grandma Barbara.By the time Richard was the age of five Karen married a navy man named Bernie Snyder who grew
fond of Richard and adopted him by age six, at which point Richard became Richard Flynn Snyder.
Being Bernie's line of work, the family which consisted of 2 stepbrothers and eventually a half brother,
Chris, and a half sister, Casey moved around all the time and it was difficult to maintain friendships.
Then at the age of 13, Bernie was stationed in Millington, Tn. Unfortunately for the family there was
no base housing available so Bernie and Karen bought a house in North Memphis in the Raliegh-Frayser
area. While in Memphis the family fell apart, the 2 stepbrothers were sent to live with their biological mother,
and Bernie got stationed in Virginia. Rather than try to sell the house in Memphis Bernie went alone
and left the family behind. With no man around and Richards mother turning to alcohol, Richard had to
take care of his younger brother and sister. He also turned to drugs, preferably weed and acid. Richard
spent most of his teenage years in and out of juvenile court and was put into Shelby Training Center
at the age of 15. After getting released he violated his probation by throwing wild parties and continuing
his drug use, and was put back into STC. During his second stint in STC, his best friend Steven Dowland
was brutally murdered back in the neighborhood, which to this day remains a Memphis Unsolved Mystery.
While mourning Stevens death in lock up, Richard began rappin with some other inmates from his unit.
In order to get out of STC early Richard agreed to leave the state of Tennessee and went to try to get
to know his biolgical father in Summerville, S.C.." Da only thing i dug about dat place was my baby
sister, Baillie" says Rick, " I quickly understood what my moms was talkin bout!"Richard quickly got tired of the slow country life and missed his people back in Memphis, so despite
agreeing not to come back untill he was at least 18, he did anyways. Richard had no place to live and
only a bag of clothes, he stayed between friends houses and hotels. He soon began selling herb and
acid to make ends and started writing more frequently and was starting to impress everyone with his
lyrical skill. He became Lil Rick. " It was like a metamorphasis" says Rick, " It completely defined me"
Lil Rick saw many friends die and decided to see the country to clear his head, so he joined a traveling
magazine crew. " There were all kinds of deviant pricks from all over da country on dat damn crew" says
Rick, " like a hundred or more sometimes" Lil Rick met a girl on the crew who became pregnant and
he decided to get back to Memphis to raise his child, but the drug-addicted mother of his son, Cameron,
ran off with Ricks son. Lil Rick then met a young man in Raleigh called Psycho, who was originally from
Chicago. The two started working on some songs and were planning an album untill Psycho got in some
trouble.Really depressed, after many attempts to get something off the ground in the rap world, Lil Rick turned
to heavy cocaine and heroine use. " I just felt like nothin could go right" said Rick, " somethin good would
start and bam, shit!!! I only blew da heroine, never injected, dats for junkies!" Rick then met J.J. Diamondsmile
and the two hit it right off and quickly got to work on "Dem Wyte Boyz, Will Bump Fo' Food" which was
backed by Lady B and featured Skinny Pimp. Unfortunatly Lady B didn't promote the album as she had
led the young men to believe. Ricks job fell through and he and his then girlfriend Brandy Meadows moved
to Moncks Corner, S.C. where they were married and had a beautiful son Vincent. They both were very
unhappy there, so when word got to Rick that his album was starting to get some steam he and his family
moved back to Memphis so he could get to work on his solo album. Soon after returning, Ricks other son
Cameron turned up and once again Rick put his life on hold, this time to get custody of his son. Now Lil Rick
has custody of Cameron, and is working on his solo album entitled " Yeah, I Rap" which he plans to be through
with by the end of September. " Its gonna be hott" says Rick " im gonna feature a few up and comin folks, don't
miss it ya'll !!!".contactTable {width:300px!important; height:150px!important; padding:0px!important; background-image:url(" http://img3.pimp-my-profile.com/i57/9/8/21/ct_fb81d29d2773.p
